Brief note

    1. Not the BG remake, the persistent world (online private server) called Badlur's Gate Tales from the Sword Coast

  3. is 1.46/1,47 out? I'd really like to get back into NWN2 if that is the case.

    1. There hasn't been news from Kaedrin within the last two months on his website, this blog, NwN Nexus and nwnvault. No updates to his PrC Pack were released in any shape or form as well.

  4. I'll try to post a new community update this weekend. It's been a rough few months.

    2. Thank god! (It's been frustrating to play Sword Coast Legends and I'm desperate for more NWN2 for good D&D)

  6. Hope you are back on your feet :)
One off-topic question tho, are you aware that currently if you click on either Dragon or Fey in Character creation will instantly crash the game? Not a huge deal as i never played either of those races, but in case i wanted to, please look into this, thank you :)

    1. It works for me, in fact most of my characters are fey. Unless you are talking about some test version which I didn't have access to...

    2. Tested it again by re-downloading and re-installing 1.42.1, same outcome. I have seen others complain about the crash aswell, so im not alone.

    3. always worked for me too, and i've used dragon/fey characters a lot, but what campaign are you playing might be key

    4. Yep. But I am doubting it is the packs fault (knowing I can be wrong) because I even mix it with other classes and races mod and it works perfectly so it is VERY compatible.

    5. Are you use clear Kaedrin's Content or with others race 2da changers mods? If do check out the compatibility. (Sorry about my bad english)

    6. You better download ready packs on nexus or nwvault because my files are a mess. Last time I checked kaedrin + races of faerun + tome of battle worked perfectly.

    7. hey julia anything else recommended to use that definitely works with kaedrin's pack??

i just found that races of faerun you mentioned and it looks really good. I never thought about looking anywhere else, I've only been looking through what nexus mods has....

    8. Right, it was indeed incompatibility with a different mod, namely Remove level adjustment (dont judge, i wanted to have a little fun with a juan-ti automatic quicken spell from lvl 1 warlock with character editor [basically cheating, alot])

    10. nvm then, there is a mod of bunch of combined stuff i found (prc, races of faerun, etc) i am going to use. shoulda done this a long time ago instead of just waiting for 1.46 to do something new with NWN2

    11. You mean like a mod bundle? Please share, I really need reasons to get yet another character back up and running.

      Delete
    12. yeah here ya go, this seems like the best mod bundle i can find

    13. I guess you guys already found your way around xD

    14. Lol yeah i guess....i'm always trying to find a new campaign though, instead of having to constantly play the kind of boring SoZ one.

but then I figure I'll probably run into some crash, error, etc. because I have mods installed. at best some will tell u they either definitely do, don't, or need an additional file to work with kaedrin's.

    15. Have you tried Baldur's Gate Reloaded? If you didn't play Baldur's Gate to exhaustion back in the day.

Some campaings have packs like Kaedrin's integrated or have a compatibility tested. I actually like vanilla and MotB campaings so I don't try others that much but you should spend some time on nwnvault and nexus if you like new things, you are bound to find something interesting xD

    16. hmm yeah that reminds me i was really thinking of giving Icewind Dale module a try, I really liked ID2 and what little I played of the original. maybe its okay with mods, it says kaedrin's support is added and other races/classes "may work" :/

truthfully, I never got into baldur's gate, I've tried them a few times and barely got past the intros. I think the user created party's are much more my thing.....despite some of its shortcomings maybe i'll stick with SoZ for that, and it does have a really good "open ended" feel to it.

    18. cool thanks for more recommendations, i guess i'll figure it out. probably be playing around with creating a bunch of characters for a while before i start actually playing the game again :P

    19. Know your feelings... I spent a lot more time testing builds than actually playing. This is the major joy of this kind of game. I hope someday we will see a game like this again =(

      Delete
    20. True))) I spend two last days to creating head retexture fot my new band testing they build and writing they bio. I play NWN 2 as game released and i love doing it after all those years. Best Game EVER!

      Delete
    21. Agreed, it is the only of its kind. there's really no comparison for customization with characters and with the mods its really endless.

works for me though, for now i've been sticking with modest computers and just running old stuff or indie style games. there's only a couple of things i see on the distant horizon i'll have to break down and probably get a decent PC again, haha

    22. I use some enhanced texture packs and sweetfx/reshade so graphics are not that bad. But I won't lie that I would like some Dragon Age Inquisition or Witcher 3 graphics in a game like NWN2 xD

The races and classes options allow us to play this game a whole lifetime without running out of ideas to make characters ^_^

      Delete
    23. (Sorry for my bad English)
It best in NWN it is not simple game, it is a large designer and there is not such game that ( not well except Skyrim with this Constaction set - not so good if you as me) will be able to be compared to such experience.

    24. (Spoiler Alert - Bad Language)
And that is why I love Kaedrin's Content he give the game new life with new possibilities to test new experience in game. To give our characters more and deep (RP element) history.
